The snowpack is 1 - 2 foot thick SOLID ROCK though noticeably diminished! This past Tuesday you could have ridden around on your bike in a t-shirt. Looks like that will be the case again this weekend! Porch party anyone? Full Moon and eclipse! Wanakena should hit SIXTY degrees on Saturday... a first for the year! It's sad to see such a strong winter buckle... but not use fighting it... Spring is near! Massive Grackle gang showed up yesterday making all sorts of chatter and clatter! RED WING BLACK BIRD! ROBINS! Fighter Jets and SONIC BOOMS! HONK HONK HONKING GOOSE V's OVERHEAD! Sun rings from around the base of trees. The mighty Oswegatchie River is known to make a pretty big mess if the ICE GOES OUT quickly. So far there has been one WARM AND RAINY day last week which could have caused a commotion. Alas! It held strong and continues to do to. Perhaps the river will calmly cut its way through the frozen mass! Low and slow. RAIN ON SUNDAY! We had to change the clocks and stuff and that always messes everything up. Annual Wanakena SPRING FLING next Saturday March 22nd. No one is invited; everyone is welcome. 1PM bring a dish to pass. ZPARK! And AFTER THAT it's the next installment of OPEN-AIR OPEN MIC out in ZPARK! Saturday April 26th 6-9PM! The next OPEN AIR OPEN MIC after that is Memorial Day Weekend! HOLY MOLY!
