UPS Scott is off for the next TWO WEEKS. Then he's back for FOUR DAYS. Then back OFF FOR TWO MORE WEEKS! Mama mia! In other news: Oooohweeee! It has been downright delightfully chilly! All weekend and throughout the beginning of this past week. NO BUGS THOUGH! Absolute delicious cool and damp days nights and mornings in the forest. Gotta love these spring days... hate to see 'em go! You know that HOT HEAT BEAST is on the way. No more village bear trouble reports, still. Isn't it amazing.... 9:45pm and there's still smatterings of sunshine in the sky. Summer Solstice coming up! Shortly after that... FOURTH OF JULY SUMMER SPECTACULAR! The ‘Best to the Guest’ Tourism Excellence award recognizes a business or organization who shows ‘commitment to an excellent guest experience, customer service, unique offerings, and attention to detail, which brings pride to St. Lawrence County’. The award is chosen based on nominations and reviews from Facebook, TripAdvisor, Google, and Yelp. This year’s award will honor Otto’s Abode in Wanakena, New York. “We’re on our total blitzkrieg towards isolation. Listen to me. The day’s coming—and it ain’t gonna be long—when you ain’t even gonna have to leave your living room. No more schools, no more bodegas, no more tabernacles, no more Cineplexes. All right? You’re gonna snuggle up to your fiber optics, baby, and bliss out.” Chris talking to Maggie when she has him install a washer/dryer in her home - Season 5 Northern Exposure 1994
