Happy Thursday!
HELLO EVERYBODY! Looks like winter up here, don't it! FEELS LIKE IT TOO! We got +/- 6" of snow and dropped down to EIGHT degrees Fahrenheit! Dave got the plastic up on the porch just in time! Public Bathroom, Pepsi machine, public Dock are OFF! Ice machine and wood box ARE GOOD! Some folks took advantage of the snow and did some skiing... snowmobile trails are NOT OPEN YET! Six inches... well, that's enough snow to start harvesting piles for SNOW CROQUET! Leading up to all this cold and snow, there was some rain and stuff... but also it had been cold! Last year the ground was quite warm and wet before the snow came... this year it seems to be easing into it more naturally! The ten-day forecast (above) is a mixed bag, but mostly COLD! We'll see how it goes! Gets dark so early, too. NEW MOON TOO! Typical birds at the feeder and folks starting to see and shoot some deer around here. Ranger School will go home on Thanksgiving break next week ALL WEEK! We'll be around all week and will be closed on Thanksgiving.
